Privacy Policy

Effective date: 25 October 2026 · Also available in Persian

This policy explains what information narimani.me collects, why, and what control you have over it. narimani.me is the personal website of Hossein Narimani (“I”, “we”, “us”). It covers the website, its blog, services, assessments, the Narimani Lab, our Telegram bot, and the website’s Google Calendar integration (“Narimani Calendar”).

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact, booking and request forms: your name, email address, phone number or Telegram ID, and what you write to us.
  • Assessments and self-discovery tools: your answers and, if you choose to receive results, your contact details.
  • Coaching and consulting clients: scheduling details and the notes needed to deliver the engagement. These are kept confidential. When a session is scheduled, your name and email address may be added as a guest of the session’s Google Calendar event, so that Google sends you the invitation, any time change and, for online sessions, a Google Meet link. Session notes are never included.
  • Narimani Lab: your email or Telegram ID, the website you ask us to analyse, and your orders.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, used for security and to prevent abuse.
  • Cookies and local storage: a session cookie (sign-in and security), your language preference, and small display preferences.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics records pages visited, referring source, campaign tags and approximate location, in aggregate.

Payments

Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway. Your card details are entered on the gateway and never reach our servers.

2. How we use information

  • To reply to you and deliver the service you asked for.
  • To schedule and run sessions, and to send results, reports or updates you requested.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent abuse.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful and improve them.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

3. Google user data (Narimani Calendar)

Who uses this integration. The Google Calendar integration is an internal tool of the website’s private administration panel. It is used only by the site administrator, Hossein Narimani, to connect his own Google account. Website visitors are never asked to connect a Google account.

What we access, and why

  • calendar.app.created: to create one secondary calendar named “Narimani” (نریمانی) in the connected account, and to create, update and delete events in that calendar only. It keeps the website’s planning calendar (coaching sessions, appointments, scheduled articles and the content plan) in two-way sync with Google Calendar.
  • calendar.events.readonly: to read events from the account’s other calendars (title, start and end time, location, video-meeting link, description, organizer, number of attendees and the account’s response). These are shown read-only in the private admin calendar so that sessions can be planned without clashes. We never change these calendars.
  • calendar.calendarlist.readonly: to list the account’s calendars (name, colour and access level), so the administrator can choose which ones to show.

Google user data is used only to provide these features. It is not used for any other purpose.

Storage and protection

  • We store an OAuth refresh token and a cache of calendar events from about five weeks in the past to four months ahead. The cache is refreshed every five minutes, and events outside that window are dropped.
  • This data lives on our own server, in files that only the website application can read, and travels over HTTPS.

Sharing

  • Google user data is not sold.
  • It is not shared with or transferred to third parties.
  • It is not used for advertising.
  • It is not sent to AI services and is not used to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models.
  • No person reads it other than the account owner himself, except where needed for security or to comply with the law.

narimani.me’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and deleting data

Access can be revoked at any time from the admin panel (“Disconnect”), which revokes the token at Google and deletes the cached Google data from our server. Access can also be revoked from Google Account permissions. The “Narimani” calendar stays in the Google account, where its owner can delete it.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the website. Each receives only what it needs:

  • Hosting: the server that runs the website and its database.
  • Google: Analytics, Search Console and the Calendar API.
  • Anthropic: AI-assisted features of the website and of our services, such as Narimani Lab reports. Text sent for these features is processed under Anthropic’s commercial terms, which do not allow it to be used for model training. Google user data is never sent to it.
  • Telegram: messages through our Telegram bot, when you choose to use it.
  • Payment gateway: payment processing.

5. How long we keep information

  • Messages and requests: until they are no longer needed, or until you ask us to delete them.
  • Client records: for the duration of the engagement, and afterwards only as long as professional standards reasonably require.
  • Server logs: for a short period, for security.
  • Google user data: as described in section 3.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent you gave earlier. Email hossein@narimani.me and we will respond within 30 days. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Some parts of the site, such as signing in, need the session cookie to work.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, restricted access to administrative tools and stored data, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you.

8. Children

The website and its services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
